CLASSIC ARTISAN SOAP SLICES

Artisan soaps are handmade from scratch and made with high-quality, sustainable, non-gmo food grade oils. We offer a variety of soaps that contain shea butter, aloe, olive oil, as well as goat milk and organic soaps. 

Artisan soaps are old-fashioned "lye" bar soaps utilizing a cold-process method of soap making.  Various oils, exfoliants, fragrances, and other quality additives are infused to craft the perfect bar (or soap "slice").

Of course, oil and water does not mix, but when lye is added to the mix, the oils and fat break down into fatty acid chains and the lye gets neutralized. During the saponification process, lye, water, and oil combination creates soap as we know it. No worries, fully cured soap does not contain lye. 

Many mass-produced, commercially sold bar soaps are considered synthetic detergent products and are really not soap at all.
